Network Device Registration

Although all full-time students are allocated a laptop computer while attending Houghton College, some campus community members or guests may want to connect personally-owned devices to the college network.

All network devices not provided by Technology Services must be registered using this web site. If the network device has multiple network connectors (example: wireless and wired connectors), each connector that will be used must be registered separately.
Routers, switches, and servers are NOT permitted on the network.
All computers must have up-to-date anitivirus protection installed and running.
Houghton College reserves the right to limit or prohibit access to its network resources at any time for any reason, including those outlined in the Houghton College Acceptable Use Policy.
Device registrations expire at least once a year on August 1st. All network devices must be reregistered after that date. (Non-Houghton Device Policy).
